• Applying the
scorecard method each company will be rated
according to how it scores against the group
targets in relation to each BEE indicator.
• A colour code will be used to designate the
performance of a specific company in relation to
the targets for each indicator, where a score
of:
0 – 59% will be coded as RED (needs action)
60 – 89% will be coded as AMBER (satisfactory)
90 – 100% will be coded as GREEN (good).
• The Transcom will over time develop rules to
be followed in dealing with companies which
consistently fail to meet set criteria.
REPORTING FORMAT
• For uniformity, reporting to various
companies’ boards and management committees
should be done in a standardised, uniformed
format.
