ALTRON ACHIEVES GOLD FOR EXCELLENCE IN CORPORATE GOVERNANCE

For the second consecutive year, Altron has been accredited with a AAA rating and a gold certificate by Corporate Governance Accreditation (CGA) for the implementation of best practice corporate governance policies and procedures.
This rating is based on an assessment that measures the extent to which a company has implemented the King II codes and guidelines.
According to CGA’s findings, they were extremely pleased by the progress made by Altron during the past year in terms of implementing best practices and by achieving such high standards of governance. The report also highlighted the advancement of the group in terms of its stakeholder engagements and in integrating sustainability into all areas of the business.
“Altron’s performance reflects continuous improvement from the 2007/2008 results by achieving a commendable AAA rating. The board and management of Altron are to be commended for their positive approach and commitment towards achieving best practice standards throughout the group. Altron has again cemented its position as an industry leader and an innovator in this regard,” said Jonathan Lewis, Managing Director of CGA.
